(United Kingdom) We reported to Reception a faulty door closing mechanism to teh adjoining room which meant thits door slaammed noisily every time - day or middle of night - it was used, disturbing our sleep. It was not repaired during our stay. It should have been reported by the cleaning staff who used the door every day. We should not have had to complain, and certainly should not have been disturbed in that way. |

18/12/2008 - M.G. (Brasil) I had some problems with noise from room neighbours , but I understand that this is not a problem of the hotel itself and can happen in any hotel. I appreciated the fact that the hotel has a parking facility (garage). Togheter with the quality/cost ratio this facility was one of the reasons to be a guest of Grand Hotel Mediterraneo. |

08/12/2008 - M.S. (United Kingdom) I had a fabulous time staying at your hotel. Thank you very much for providing a room with a bath. That was fantastic!! I enjoyed both hot bath before the marathon and also a cold bath after the marathon for recovery!! I found the marathon information counter at the hotel front very helpful and friendly. A female hotel staff was very helpful, giving us train and bus schedule to get to Pisa airport. Thank you!!! The only negative point: when we wanted to choose lunch or dinner for Tuscan meal (for Sunday) included in the package, there was a confusion because we could not explain it in Italian and the staff did not understand English very well. So it took us about 15 minutes to sort it out. But that was the only minor negative aspect of our stay. Overall, my husband and I had a fantastic time staying at your hotel and would like to stay with you again if we visit Firenze again. |

01/12/2008 - M.C. (United States of America) The non somking room contained a ashtray(?) The room was very very noisy, the first night I did not sleep, a woman in the next room was walking with high heels until 3 am and started again a 6 am. The following night was a little better. I will be going to Florence in two weeks for a GE meeting but I will book in a different hotel. Coming from the US and not sleep for 2 night it's not a joke. Regards |
